This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the nationwide customer service contract for the Office of Head Start.
• Ensure that project plans, goals, timelines, standards, and deliverables are met punctually and to a high standard.
• Act as the main contract-level liaison for federal clients, the Contracting Officer, and the Contracting Officer’s Representative.
• Provide comprehensive contract management, serve as a government liaison, and ensure quality oversight.
• Coordinate and supervise Regional Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Facilitate the flow of information between project teams, government stakeholders, and company leadership.
• Update company leadership on the status of projects, achievements, and challenges.
• Create, track, and revise master schedules.
• Conduct staff forecasting and risk management across multiple concurrent contract efforts.
• Oversee risk mitigation, resource allocation, and cost management.
• Prepare contract documentation, deliverable reports, and financial progress updates.
• Direct internal personnel, subcontractors, and consulting subject matter experts in grant program management activities.
• Lead weekly contract management meetings and quarterly program management reviews.
• Maintain Transition-In/Transition-Out Plans, Project Management Plan, Communications Plan, and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).
• Implement quality assurance systems to enhance customer service and grantee support.
• Ensure compliance with 2 CFR 200, agency-specific grant guidance, GPRA, and the Evidence Act.
• Mentor and provide support to Regional Project Managers and other team members.
• Address complaints and resolve issues faced by the team and clients.
• A Bachelor’s degree is required.
• A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in project management, overseeing multiple concurrent task orders and contracts.
• Experience in contract management for $1M–$5M concurrent contracts or at least $20M for a single, multi-task-order contract vehicle.
• At least 5 years of progressive supervisory experience.
• Experience in supervising staff and managing 20+ full-time employees (FTEs).
• Proficient in developing, implementing, managing, and enhancing complex, high-profile, multi-faceted projects.
• Experience in implementing quality assurance systems that improved client services.
• Skilled in reviewing, aggregating, and presenting data from various sources.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to produce high-quality memoranda, presentations, and correspondence.
• Proficient in addressing team member and client complaints and resolving issues.
• Capable of effectively coaching team members.
• Must be able to pass background checks for access to federal facilities and systems.
• Must obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with federal grants management is required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-tempo environment.
• Willingness to travel 10–15%, including overnight stays.
