Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee impactful deployments of the Zscaler Zero Trust Exchange platform for SLED and Federal clients, managing the process from initiation to project completion.

• Serve as the primary trusted advisor while coordinating cross-functional technical teams to achieve secure business results.

• Supervise the complete delivery lifecycle of multiple concurrent and complex customer deployments, which includes planning, execution, governance, risk management, and formal project approval.

• Manage simultaneous customer engagements that involve Zero Trust implementations, migrations from legacy security tools, architecture evaluations, and optimization initiatives.

• Establish, monitor, and communicate deployment success criteria, metrics, milestones, and timelines.

• Ensure projects remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

• Create and maintain project plans, rollout timelines, risk and issue logs, meeting notes, and executive status updates.

• Collaborate with internal experts and customer stakeholders to identify and address challenges and escalations.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory for this role.

• Proven experience navigating the complexities and unique challenges within State, Local, Education, or Federal sectors.

• A solid history of formal project or program management experience in delivering customer-facing technical solutions within a professional services, consulting, or enterprise SaaS deployment context.

• An active Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or equivalent recognized project management certification is required.

• A practical understanding of foundational networking and security principles, including firewalls, proxies, secure web gateways (SWG), and VPN architectures.

• A basic understanding of AI/ML technologies along with experience in utilizing, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions within the functional area.

• Preferred: Direct experience managing large-scale deployments of Zero Trust architecture, SASE, or enterprise cloud security platforms such as ZIA, ZPA, or ZDX.

• Preferred: Hands-on expertise with Professional Services Automation and work management tools like Salesforce, Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet.

• Preferred: Experience with generative AI tools to enhance research, data analysis, and workflows.

• Preferred: An active or recent DoD/DoW security clearance (SECRET or TS).
