Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee cross-functional strategic initiatives that drive organizational growth, business transformation, operational excellence, and enhance client engagement.

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, workstreams, and implementation roadmaps using project management tools.

• Track deliverables, milestones, scope, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and ensure strategic alignment.

• Facilitate cross-functional meetings with teams from Commercial, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Business Development, and external stakeholders.

• Promote effective communication, decision-making, issue resolution, and project execution.

• Formulate risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and escalation processes.

• Assist with business transformation, operational enhancements, organizational change management, and growth-related projects.

• Manage mergers, acquisitions, integrations, client onboarding, strategic partnerships, and corporate development initiatives.

• Collaborate with functional leaders to ensure alignment of activities with company goals, client obligations, and operational capabilities.

• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, executive presentations, and governance materials.

• Maintain project documentation, decision logs, action item trackers, risk registers, and governance records.

• Promote continuous improvement in project management processes, tools, governance practices, and operational workflows.

• Perform other assigned duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field is required.

• An advanced degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, CMO/CDMO, consulting, or similar industries is required.

• At least 3 to 5 years of direct project or program management experience in support of strategic, operational, transformation, integration, or business initiatives.

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.

• Preferred experience in supporting business transformation, operational improvements, M&A integration, organizational change, or strategic planning initiatives.

• A demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing, commercialization, outsourced development and manufacturing services, or related business operations is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, including project planning, governance, risk management, and change management.

• Proven skills in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and execution.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Capacity to influence and achieve alignment among cross-functional teams without direct authority.

• Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Asana, or similar systems.

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams and organizational levels.

• Strong executive presence with senior leadership, clients, and external stakeholders.

• PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.

• Currently unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
