Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with business sponsors and cross-functional leaders to align priorities, create governance frameworks, and outline delivery strategies.

• Facilitate the discovery of current business and accounting processes, identifying requirements, gaps, dependencies, and future needs.

• Manage functional teams to define, prepare for, and implement future processes and operational changes.

• Oversee the integration of financial systems and business processes with technology and functional experts.

• Direct end-to-end delivery, managing scope, milestones, dependencies, ownership, risks, issues, and changes.

• Establish measurable success criteria and customize project management practices for each initiative.

• Provide senior leadership with insights into progress, risks, decisions, and outcomes.

• Utilize data and stakeholder feedback to reassess priorities, evaluate trade-offs, eliminate barriers, and drive resolution or escalation.

• Facilitate cross-functional business readiness, stabilization, and transition to operational owners.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field.

• PMP Certification is preferred.

• At least 5 years of progressive project management experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives.

• Proficient understanding of project governance, methodologies, and enterprise technologies.

• Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise financial systems integration is preferred.

• Proven experience in leading complex, cross-functional business changes or integrations.

• Preferred experience in finance and accounting process migration.

• Ability to bridge business requirements and technical execution across functional teams.

• Excellent executive communication and influencing skills.

• Strong financial and business acumen.

• Capability to connect strategic objectives to execution and adapt to evolving priorities.

• Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional projects using sound judgment and established governance practices.

• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and constructively challenge assumptions without direct authority.
