Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Oversee dynamic projects and teams in adherence to a structured process.

• Ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to budget limitations.

• Define and estimate budgets and timelines for new projects.

• Provide comprehensive and prompt status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Lead project teams comprised of diverse disciplines.

• Track and manage scope changes through formal change requests or strategic descoping.

• Ensure adherence to the scope roadmap and strategic objectives.

• Approve deliverables such as roadmaps, designs, requirements, and launch authorizations.

• Collaborate with fellow Project Managers, Account Directors, and the Director of Delivery to manage resources effectively.

• Communicate with stakeholders to align scope and expectations.

• Document and address risks; identify and resolve project challenges.

• Collaborate with clients or Account Directors to ensure satisfaction and explore strategic growth opportunities.

• Advocate for continuous improvement by documenting project insights and enhancing project management practices.

• Handle invoicing, reporting, and revenue gaps when managing a service level agreement without an Account Director.

• Partner with Product Owners to ensure the scope roadmap aligns with budget and timeline constraints.

• Promote project transparency by ensuring information is readily available and accessible.

• Report directly to the Director of Project Management.

• Contribute to both new client projects and ongoing client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital project management within a digital agency.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and/or completion of scrum training.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating clarity and assertiveness.

• Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Exceptional leadership and facilitation skills.

• Proficient in navigating and negotiating client requests, knowing when to advise and when to adapt.

• Extensive experience in budgeting, management, and reporting on project profitability.

• Proficient in project management software for client communication, resource management, and task management, such as JIRA, Basecamp, and Forecast.app, or similar tools.

• Experience in delivering projects on CMS platforms like WordPress, Optimizely, Kentico, Kontent.ai, Contentful, or comparable systems.

• Proven experience managing large-scale digital, marketing, and website projects.

• Preferred experience with composable stacks using headless platforms.

• Ability to comprehend technical terminology and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.

• Project management certifications or completion of project management training is desirable.

• Strong eagerness to learn and promote knowledge sharing within the department and across the organization.

• Preferred experience as a Project Manager working with health systems or healthcare organizations.

• Experience utilizing AI tools in project management workflows to enhance efficiency.

• Must reside in and be eligible to work in the US or Canada.

• Required to work core hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
