Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee technology and business transformation initiatives throughout the entire delivery lifecycle utilizing Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies.

• Create and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and release goals.

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to harmonize priorities, manage scope, and respond to changing business requirements.

• Promote effective communication among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.

• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies while ensuring timely resolutions.

• Maintain schedules, RAID logs, status updates, resource plans, decision logs, and delivery documentation.

• Lead cross-functional teams, encouraging collaboration, accountability, and a focus on outcomes.

• Establish relationships with clients, sponsors, and internal stakeholders.

• Oversee multiple projects or workstreams, coordinating cross-project dependencies and resources.

• Encourage continuous improvement to boost delivery quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives when necessary.

• Track project financials, resource usage, and overall delivery performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 4-6+ years of experience in client-facing project management delivering enterprise technology projects.

• Established experience leading projects through the complete project lifecycle using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methods.

• Consulting experience that aligns project execution with business objectives and customer priorities.

• Experience managing projects that involve Microsoft technologies, such as AI, Azure, infrastructure, data, application development, or cloud solutions.

• Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and fostering accountability among technical and business stakeholders.

• Experience overseeing project budgets, schedules, resources, risks, and customer expectations.

• Strong skills in facilitation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.

• Capability to effectively lead distributed teams in both remote and hybrid work environments.

• Customer-centric mindset committed to delivering outstanding client experiences.

• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting setting.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Teams, Copilot, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

• Experience with project and work management tools such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar.

• Familiarity with managing Agile backlogs, user stories, sprint planning, team capacity, velocity, and delivery tracking.

• Preferred: Experience in managing Microsoft cloud implementation, modernization, or migration projects.

• Preferred: Professional certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), SAFe, Prosci, or similar credentials.

• Preferred: Experience in a consulting, professional services, or technology services organization.

• Preferred: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and customer engagements concurrently.
