Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee project scope, schedule, resources, quality, costs, and change management.

• Successfully lead IT project deliveries within defined scope, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Manage the expectations and requirements of internal teams, partners, and customer stakeholders.

• Plan and execute IT solution development initiatives.

• Collaborate with sales and delivery leadership to enhance customer business value and achieve Presidio's objectives.

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules.

• Address budget, schedule, and scope challenges, including escalations when necessary.

• Facilitate Scrum meetings, project discussions, and technical deep-dive sessions.

• Ensure project deadlines and cost goals are achieved, escalating to Presidio leadership as needed.

• Keep thorough project documentation and reports using project management tools.

• Act as a bridge between business needs and technical project components.

• Lead cross-functional teams, including virtual and offshore members.

• Develop project plans that monitor tasks, schedules, risks, and issues for both project and client teams.

• Ensure project alignment with Presidio’s strategic goals.

• Serve as a trusted advisor, assisting clients in navigating business challenges and clarifying expected outcomes.

• Cultivate consultative partnerships with customers to align solutions with their strategic objectives.

• Promote a customer-centric approach throughout the project delivery process.

• Oversee the delivery of complex enterprise-level Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps professional services projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, including military background.

• At least 7 years of experience in IT project management and general IT consulting.

• Proven skills in Project Management Institute-defined methodologies, including Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and Waterfall.

• Capability to manage Agile/Scrum/Kanban/Waterfall processes for new applications and modernization projects.

• Proficient in Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Project.

• Experience in customer-facing roles with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.

• Knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud technologies and their respective application stacks.

• Experience in delivering technical projects, Agile methodologies, and cloud infrastructure/DevOps initiatives.

• Effective communication skills across various organizational and project-team levels.

• PMP or similar professional certification is preferred.

• CSM or similar professional certification is preferred.

• AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Azure Fundamentals or similar certification is preferred.
