Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee all phases of assigned projects, including initiation, planning, solution development/end-state design, execution, testing, and the successful delivery of the defined project scope.

• Coordinate initiatives with both external vendors and internal teams such as Information Technology, Finance, Product, Editorial, Operations, Sales, Subscription Services, and Marketing.

• Manage multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring they align with business objectives, adhere to timelines, budgets, and meet quality standards.

• Encourage cross-functional collaboration to develop project documentation, covering project scope, requirements, decisions, process design, assumptions, and milestones.

• Track project performance, recognize risks, assumptions, and issues, and apply mitigation strategies as necessary.

• Provide consistent updates to senior leadership and stakeholders on project status.

• Guide and mentor multi-disciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Contribute to the enhancement of project management practices and PMO maturity through effective documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.

• Offer insights and recommendations that improve client service and facilitate data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in project and program management, including leading cross-functional initiatives.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects at once in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a proven history of meeting deadlines and handling competing priorities.

• Superior communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.

• Analytical mindset with experience in data interpretation and trend identification to guide strategic decisions.

• Proven track record of leading teams, coaching individuals, and promoting collaboration across various departments.
