Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee all phases of designated projects, including initiation, planning, solution design, execution, testing, and successful delivery of the project scope.

• Coordinate initiatives involving external vendors and various internal departments such as Information Technology, Finance, Product, Editorial, Operations, Sales, Subscription Services, and Marketing.

• Handle multiple simultaneous projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Promote cross-functional teamwork to generate project documentation, which includes project scope, requirements, decisions, process design, assumptions, and milestones.

• Track project performance, recognize risks, assumptions, and issues, and implement strategies for mitigation.

• Provide consistent updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire project lifecycle.

• Contribute to the enhancement of project management practices and PMO maturity through documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement.

• Offer insights and recommendations that improve client services and aid in data-driven decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

• PMP certification is highly preferred.

• At least 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in project and program management.

• Proven experience in leading cross-functional initiatives.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within a fast-paced, matrixed organization.

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and handling competing priorities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Capability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Analytical mindset with experience in data interpretation and trend identification.
