Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the delivery process for enterprise client implementations, overseeing everything from discovery to deployment and post-launch transition.

• Lead discovery workshops and requirements sessions to outline scope, dependencies, and timelines.

• Convert business and technical requirements into actionable delivery plans utilizing Jira and Confluence.

• Coordinate efforts among Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and external vendors.

• Drive project momentum and troubleshoot any blockers that arise.

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and dependencies across various workstreams.

• Provide weekly status updates, risk logs, and steering committee briefings.

• Monitor project health and identify potential delivery risks, capacity limitations, and cross-program dependencies.

• Collaborate with fellow Project Managers to ensure alignment of workstreams across major accounts.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of nesto’s delivery framework.

• Identify and assist in the implementation of foundational product management standards and practices.

• Work closely with financial-institution partners, as well as product, engineering, operations, and leadership teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management.

• At least 3 years of experience in SaaS environments.

• Proven experience in enterprise SaaS delivery is essential.

• Familiarity with non-functional requirements, such as monitoring, alerting, high availability, and production/cloud operations.

• Experience in direct customer interactions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in engaging with executives, clients, and technical teams.

• Capability to manage complex and ambiguous programs with numerous moving components.

• Advanced organizational skills are required.

• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.

• Knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Fluency in French is required for the position based in Quebec.

• Background, criminal, and reference checks will be conducted at the offer stage.

• Nice-to-have: PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other agile project management certifications.

• Nice-to-have: Technical background, preferably in engineering or a related field.

• Nice-to-have: Experience with financial institutions, mortgage or lending technology, or regulated B2B environments.

• Nice-to-have: Experience using AI tools such as Claude or Gemini.
