Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for enterprise client implementations, from discovery through to deployment and post-launch transitions.

• Lead discovery workshops with subject-matter experts and conduct requirements sessions.

• Establish the scope, dependencies, and timelines for projects.

• Convert business and technical requirements into actionable delivery plans utilizing Jira and Confluence.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, QA, Operations, and external vendors.

• Propel progress and address any obstacles that arise.

• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and dependencies across various workstreams.

• Deliver weekly status reports, risk logs, and updates to the steering committee.

• Monitor project health and pinpoint delivery risks, capacity limitations, and inter-program dependencies.

• Synchronize workstreams across major accounts with other project managers.

• Contribute to the enhancement of nesto’s delivery framework.

• Establish foundational product management standards and practices for the expanding PM organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be located in Quebec, with a preference for candidates residing in the Greater Montreal area.

• Proficiency in French is mandatory.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management.

• At least 3 years of experience in SaaS environments.

• Experience in enterprise SaaS delivery is essential.

• Familiarity with non-functional requirements, including monitoring, alerting, high availability, and production/cloud operations.

• Experience in direct customer interactions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proven experience interfacing with executives, clients, and technical teams.

• Capability to manage complex and ambiguous programs with numerous moving parts.

• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to coordinate diverse teams effectively.

• Proficient in Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.

• Understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery models.

• Successful completion of background checks, including criminal and reference checks.

• PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), and/or other agile PM certifications are considered an asset.

• A technical background in engineering or a related field is desirable.

• Experience within financial institutions, mortgage or lending technology, or regulated B2B environments is advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or Gemini is a plus.
