This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review customer orders and compare them with the GE quote once the project file is transferred from the Commercial group to Project Management.
• Facilitate internal project kick-off meetings and delegate roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct customer kick-off meetings to outline the project's scope and address any order-related issues.
• Oversee all activities related to the project.
• Monitor project expenses against the budget, including costs, materials, and labor.
• Lead the drafting of summaries for internal and external project follow-up meetings.
• Follow up on project deviations.
• Handle invoicing in accordance with contract stipulations.
• Liaise with the GE procurement department regarding supplier deliveries.
• Regularly update customers on project progress.
• Create post-mortem analysis reports for projects.
• Execute administrative tasks related to project closure.
• Manage long-term service projects.
• Resolve project deficiencies and address punch-list items.
• Oversee warranty services and all after-sales support.
• Supervise non-turnkey and product/equipment-only projects.
• Provide direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources.
• Utilize technical expertise for data analysis and recommendations.
• Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
• Foster customer relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accountability for project profit and loss.
• A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in electrical, mechanical, or a related engineering field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience, with demonstrated project management expertise relevant to the position.
• Willingness to travel 25% - 30% locally and internationally based on business requirements.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Project is preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French is advantageous.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
• Proven track record in analyzing and resolving issues.
• Demonstrated capability to lead programs and projects.
• Ability to document, plan, market, and implement programs effectively.
• Established skills in project management.
