This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Review customer orders and compare them with the GE quote upon the transfer of the project file from Commercial to Project Management.
• Facilitate internal project kick-off meetings and designate roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct customer kick-off meetings, communicate the planned work, and address any order-related issues.
• Coordinate all activities related to the project.
• Monitor project expenditures against the budget, including costs, materials, and labor.
• Lead and prepare summaries for both internal and external project follow-up meetings.
• Follow up on any project derogations.
• Handle invoicing in accordance with contract stipulations.
• Liaise with GE Procurement regarding supplier delivery schedules.
• Provide regular updates on project progress to customers.
• Generate project post-mortem analysis reports.
• Conduct administrative tasks for project closeout.
• Oversee long-term service projects.
• Resolve project deficiencies and address punch-list items.
• Manage warranty and after-sales service operations.
• Supervise non-turnkey and product/equipment-only projects.
• Offer direct or indirect leadership and management of project resources.
• Utilize technical expertise and data analysis to inform recommendations and decisions.
• Serve as a resource for junior colleagues.
• Maintain positive customer relations and ensure satisfaction.
• Take ownership of service project delivery and related activities, including resource management and profit and loss accountability.
• A bachelor's degree is required, ideally with a focus on electrical, mechanical, or a similar engineering field.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience, demonstrating relevant project management expertise.
• Willingness and capacity to travel 25%–30% both locally and internationally based on business requirements.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
• Experience with SAP, Salesforce, and MS Project is preferred.
• Proficiency in spoken and written French is advantageous.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
• Capacity to analyze and solve problems effectively.
• Proven track record in leading programs and projects.
• Ability to document, plan, promote, and execute programs.
• Established skills in project management.
