Senior Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the physical network infrastructure, encompassing tasks from survey/audit and design to procurement, construction/installation, testing, turnover, and closeout.

• Oversee the project-management scope related to physical network infrastructure.

• Design and manage campus/building infrastructure, including MDF/IDF layouts, fiber/copper installations, underground/conduit/pathways, cabinets, power requirements, BOMs, and specifications.

• Coordinate with ECs/subcontractors and resolve any field-related issues.

• Facilitate communication among network engineers, AEC teams, contractors, and clients.

• Act as the primary contact for the Design Group regarding physical network infrastructure.

• Assist in developing the physical infrastructure segment of the network team, moving beyond traditional Network Engineer roles.

• Support ongoing projects and aid in onboarding new team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in bridging network engineering, architecture, engineering, construction, contractors, and clients.

• Knowledge of physical network infrastructure, which includes campus/building infrastructure, MDF/IDF layouts, fiber/copper, underground/conduit/pathways, cabinets, power requirements, BOMs, and specifications.

• Capability to manage the physical network infrastructure from survey/audit and design through procurement, construction/installation, testing, turnover, and closeout.

• Experience in coordinating ECs/subcontractors and addressing field issues effectively.

• Project management experience specifically within the scope of physical network infrastructure.

• Ability to serve as the Design Group liaison among network engineers, AEC teams, contractors, and customers.
