Project Manager

📋 Description

• Lead intricate initiatives from their definition to successful transition.

• Transform approved business goals into practical delivery frameworks.

• Plan, coordinate, execute, monitor, and conclude complex initiatives.

• Establish and uphold project charters, integrated plans, schedules, milestone maps, resource requirements, and delivery assumptions.

• Define the scope, outcomes, success metrics, roles, responsibilities, governance, escalation procedures, and working agreements.

• Coordinate cross-functional execution involving business, technology, operations, clinical, regulatory, finance, data, vendors, and other delivery partners.

• Facilitate working sessions and project meetings, tracking decisions, responsible parties, due dates, and follow-through actions.

• Monitor scope, schedule, costs, quality, readiness, and delivery commitments.

• Manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, decisions, changes, and RAID logs.

• Evaluate and control changes impacting outcomes, resources, timing, costs, risks, and readiness.

• Oversee project financial health and vendor impacts.

• Generate status reports and provide actionable delivery evidence to sponsors, governance bodies, and the Program Manager.

• Prepare recommendations and actions as requested by sponsors and governance entities.

• Lead communications with stakeholders, ensuring alignment, conflict resolution, readiness, adoption, training, stabilization, and transition-to-operations activities.

• Set team expectations, reinforce accountability, capture lessons learned, and enhance PMO standards.

• Utilize approved collaboration and portfolio tools to maintain project information.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• US citizenship is required due to Department of Defense contract stipulations.

• Must successfully pass a background check.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.

• 1–3 years of experience in a project manager or project leadership role.

• Proven experience in developing and maintaining project charters, integrated plans, schedules, RAID logs, decision logs, status reports, and stakeholder communications.

• Experience in coordinating delivery across business and technical teams in a matrixed environment.

• Experience in managing scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, changes, and resource limitations.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with sponsors and leaders, facilitate decision-making, and present clear recommendations.

• Preferred: five or more years of progressively responsible experience leading projects, initiatives, or complex cross-functional work.

• Preferred: experience in healthcare, insurance, regulated operations, technology-enabled delivery, or other complex environments.

• Preferred: familiarity with structured project lifecycles, governance, audit, or compliance requirements.

• Preferred: experience with business and technology initiatives and predictive, agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Preferred: experience in coordinating with vendors or external delivery partners.

• Preferred: experience using portfolio management and collaboration platforms.

• PMP certification or equivalent project management training/certification is preferred.

• Change management or agile certification is valued.

• Must comply with HIPAA, privacy, information security, legal, regulatory, company policies, and training requirements.
