Bilingual Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee client-facing HRIS and Payroll integration projects from the initial kickoff to go-live and subsequent stabilization.

• Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders from HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT to outline scope, requirements, timelines, and success metrics.

• Convert business and operational needs into organized documentation, which includes data mapping and integration flow diagrams.

• Collaborate with internal technical consultants and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, accountability, and successful execution.

• Actively manage risks, dependencies, and scope alterations, especially in relation to payroll schedules, compliance, or downstream financial reporting.

• Track the overall health of projects, communicate progress effectively, and facilitate decision-making when trade-offs are necessary.

• Assist in post-launch validation to ensure that integrations function as expected in real-world settings.

• Recognize opportunities for expansion or optimization and prepare change requests when suitable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of project management experience in delivering technology projects within a client-facing context (SaaS, implementations, integrations, or similar).

• Proficiency in both French and English (written and spoken).

• Experience with HRIS and/or Payroll systems, or leading projects that involve employee/payroll data as a key input/output.

• Capability to manage the complete project lifecycle: kickoff → discovery → delivery → go-live → stabilization.

• Strong skills in requirements facilitation: conducting workshops, documenting decisions, and translating needs into clear project deliverables and documentation.

• Solid understanding of scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and change control across multiple concurrent projects.

• High level of ownership and follow-through in a fully remote work environment.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience with system-to-system integrations (APIs, SFTP, ETL/data transformations, middleware/iPaaS) is preferred.

• Familiarity with HR and Payroll platforms such as Workday, Oracle HCM, ADP, UKG, Ceridian Dayforce, BambooHR, or similar is preferred.

• Strong comprehension of payroll schedules, data quality implications, and downstream reporting requirements (including cost centers and GL mapping) is preferred.

• Experience in supporting multi-entity or multi-country environments is preferred.

• Additional language skills (French, Spanish, Arabic, or others) are preferred.
