This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Execute projects within the established timeline while overseeing profit and loss responsibilities and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain and manage the Project Risk Register to effectively communicate and reduce overall project risks.
• Engage in and support project kickoff meetings involving customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Assist the Project Director in organizing the project cost structure using Oracle ERP.
• Create and sustain a project roster while tracking the completion of project-related training activities.
• Develop and distribute the Project Work Plan along with associated project plans and procedures.
• Facilitate the execution of project plans and procedures throughout the project team.
• Manage and configure project documentation effectively.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. export control regulations and other relevant requirements.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project infrastructure and tools.
• Coordinate project actions and oversee the progress on deliverables.
• Organize and archive project communications and records in accordance with the Project Configuration Management Plan.
• Confirm that project deliverables meet contract and project specifications.
• Lead the drafting and distribution of project management meeting notes, action item lists, and progress reports.
• Aid the Project Director in the planning and execution of SMR design and construction contracts globally.
• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from a recognized university or college.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• A minimum of 3 years managing medium to large-scale projects with diverse teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Eligibility for remote work for U.S. candidates.
• Ability to secure U.S. government authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information, if necessary.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Experience in the nuclear power industry, specifically in operations or engineering.
• Knowledge of nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design.
• Background in commercial negotiations.
• Experience in a matrixed working environment.
• Proven leadership abilities in managing programs/projects.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of a drug screening, if required.
