This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Oversee project-related tasks and resources to ensure timely delivery, maintain accountability for profits and losses, and guarantee customer satisfaction.
β’ Keep the Project Risk Register updated to effectively communicate and mitigate overall project risks.
β’ Engage in project kickoff meetings with customers, internal teams, and suppliers.
β’ Assist the Project Director in preparing and coordinating kickoff meetings.
β’ Aid the Project Director in structuring project costs within Oracle ERP.
β’ Create and maintain a project roster while monitoring the completion of training related to the project.
β’ Develop and distribute the Project Work Plan along with associated project plans and procedures.
β’ Facilitate the execution of project plans and procedures throughout the project team.
β’ Manage and configure project documentation effectively.
β’ Assist in the development and implementation of project infrastructure and tools.
β’ Coordinate project activities and oversee the monitoring and control of deliverable progress.
β’ Organize and archive project correspondence and records in accordance with the Project Configuration Management Plan.
β’ Ensure that project deliverables meet contractual and project specifications.
β’ Lead, draft, and distribute notes from project management meetings, action item lists, and progress reports.
β’ Support the Project Director in planning and executing contracts for design and construction of small modular reactors.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
β’ At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
β’ Minimum of 3 years managing medium to large-scale projects involving multi-disciplinary teams.
β’ Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of the time.
β’ Eligibility for remote work in the U.S. for remote candidates.
β’ Capability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government, if necessary.
β’ Legally authorized to work in the United States.
β’ Successful completion of a drug screening, as required.
β’ PMP Certification is mandatory.
β’ Experience in the nuclear power industry, specifically in operations or engineering.
β’ Familiarity with nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) designs.
β’ Experience with commercial negotiations.
β’ Proven experience in a matrixed work environment.
β’ Demonstrated capability to lead programs and projects effectively.
β’ Strong planning and organizational skills are essential.
