This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Oversee project-related tasks and resources to guarantee timely delivery, accountability for profit and loss, and satisfaction of customer needs.
• Keep the Project Risk Register updated to effectively communicate and mitigate overall project risks.
• Engage in project kickoff meetings with customers, internal stakeholders, and suppliers.
• Assist the Project Director in preparing and coordinating kickoff meetings.
• Structure project costs within the Oracle ERP system.
• Create and maintain a project roster.
• Assign and track the timely completion of training activities related to the project.
• Formulate and distribute the Project Work Plan along with relevant project plans and procedures.
• Facilitate the execution of project plans and procedures throughout the project team.
• Manage and organize project documentation.
• Support the Project Director in administrative tasks and configuration management of the project.
• Ensure adherence to U.S. export control laws and other relevant regulations.
• Assist in the development and deployment of project infrastructure and tools.
• Coordinate project activities and monitor progress regarding deliverables.
• Organize and archive project correspondence and records in accordance with the Project Configuration Management Plan.
• Ensure that project deliverables meet contract and project specifications.
• Lead the drafting and distribution of project management meeting notes, action item lists, and reports on project progress.
• Report to the Project Management Director while assisting the Project Director in planning and executing design and construction contracts for SMR worldwide.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
• At least 5 years of experience in Project Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing medium- to large-scale projects involving multi-disciplinary teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Candidates eligible for remote work in the U.S. must be exceptionally qualified.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government authorization for access to export-controlled information, if necessary.
• PMP Certification is required.
• Experience in the nuclear power industry, either in operations or engineering.
• Knowledge of nuclear construction practices and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) design.
• Experience in commercial negotiations.
• Background in a matrixed work environment.
• Proven ability to foresee and resolve complex challenges.
• Skill in influencing stakeholders and building trust with customers, managers, and team members.
• Ability to simplify complex information and prioritize critical tasks.
• Capacity to make informed decisions quickly and accurately based on available data.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Proven track record of leading programs and projects.
