This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all technical elements of the Synapse product implementation, from validating solutions to the product's go-live phase.

• Collaborate closely with the MI Project Management team to provide high-quality Synapse product solutions.

• Serve as the primary technical resource for MI implementation projects.

• Specify and implement third-party hardware and software infrastructure.

• Configure and deploy vSphere products, including ESXi, vCOPS, and SRM.

• Design, establish, and implement storage infrastructure, covering FC infrastructure, disk arrays, FC, NFS, CIFS, and DAS.

• Set up and validate disaster recovery protocols utilizing Backup Exec, NAS, or tape media.

• Plan and deploy Synapse MI solutions, which include Radiology PACS, Cardiology PACS, Synapse EIS, Synapse 3D, Synapse Mobility, and Synapse VNA.

• Complete projects for existing customers, including hardware refreshes, data migrations, architectural changes, and redeployments.

• Integrate Synapse MI products with various third-party healthcare IT systems, such as dictation, EMR, Citrix, and EIS.

• Adhere to internal project communication protocols using specified tools.

• Create comprehensive customer-specific solution designs and best-practice documentation.

• Acquire knowledge of newly released Synapse and third-party products, often with limited training.

• Engage in the Subject Matter Expert program.

• Execute duties in alignment with the company's quality and regulatory compliance policies.


⛳️ Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in Healthcare Information Technology.

• 5-10 years of full-time experience with Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems (2008/2012/2016/Windows 10) in a technical role.

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or an Associate’s degree with considerable on-the-job experience in a hospital, Cardiology, or Radiology environment in a senior technical or managerial position.

• Exceptional organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

• In-depth knowledge of PACS and Clinical Information Systems for Cardiology, Radiology, and associated services, including workflow.

• Practical understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery practices.

• Advanced skills in systems design, architecture, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.

• Expert-level knowledge of vSphere products, particularly ESXi and Site Recovery Manager.

• Proficient knowledge in storage infrastructure design, deployment, and troubleshooting.

• Solid understanding of overall network design and security.

• Familiarity with clinical data transfer protocols and interfaces, such as DICOM, HL7, and XML.

• Ability to sit for 75-100% of applicable work time.

• Capability to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate items, including keyboards, for up to 100% of applicable work time.

• Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time.

• Capacity to lift and carry up to ten pounds for up to 20% of applicable work time.

• Close vision: ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less.

• Occasional travel of up to 25% may be necessary.

• Must meet vendor credentialing requirements to access hospitals and facilities.

• Must adhere to applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements, ISO 13485 standards, and other relevant laws, regulations, and standards.

• Successful candidates must be open to periodic COVID-19 testing and wearing a face covering indoors as required, subject to applicable accommodations.
