This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee and coordinate all technical elements of projects, encompassing planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Create and implement system build plans that consider software architecture, information security, and hardware deployment.
• Offer technical insights on project timelines, budgets, resource needs, and risk management strategies.
• Facilitate engineering workshops focused on system design, data conversion, business process evaluations, testing, validation planning, and change management.
• Install and configure OSI monarch advanced distribution management applications.
• Design and set up SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems tailored to meet client specifications.
• Deploy and integrate SCADA/GMS/EMS/ADMS/OMS systems with other hardware and software solutions.
• Provide training and support to clients during and after the implementation phase.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to guarantee successful project execution.
• Conduct system and acceptance testing in collaboration with end customers.
• Test and validate configurations against client requirements and industry standards, including NERC CIP.
• Create scripts and solutions for integrating third-party systems.
• Identify and resolve implementation challenges.
• Ensure systems remain aligned with current advancements and industry best practices.
• Travel to client locations and engage directly with customers to deliver, test, and integrate systems.
• Contribute to proposals, work plans, budgets, and timelines for service opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Ten (10) years of cumulative experience in project management and utility systems software implementation and consulting.
• Proven experience in client interactions to comprehend relationships and priorities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual abilities.
• Capability to function effectively within a team to organize, lead, plan, and execute large-scale projects from conception to implementation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and adjust work efforts based on client business objectives.
• Familiarity with project integration lifecycle and methodologies.
• Exceptional problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in leading and facilitating workshops that span the entire project lifecycle.
• Competence in utilizing new technologies and tools as needed by project requirements (MS Project, JIRA, OneNote).
• Ability to work autonomously and direct your work schedule.
• Experience in creating work estimates, staffing plans, and proposals for projects of varying scales and complexities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to client project sites.
• Experience and capacity to work on projects outside of ADMS/OMS with suitable training.
• Installation and configuration of OSI monarch advanced distribution management applications, including DPF, FLISR, and VVC/VVO.
• Familiarity with GIS building tools and modeling.
• Experience in configuring Maven, Leitmotif, and eMAP.
