This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
β’ Perform signal integrity analysis and simulations for high-speed interfaces including 112Gbps Ethernet, PCIe Gen5, and DDR5.
β’ Create and apply signal integrity guidelines for PCB design to ensure optimal performance and minimal signal loss.
β’ Identify and address signal integrity challenges associated with high-speed interfaces, such as reflections, crosstalk, and power delivery network (PDN) issues.
β’ Collaborate with PCB layout engineers to enhance designs for signal integrity, ensuring adherence to electrical standards and best practices in high-speed design.
β’ Conduct time-domain and frequency-domain analyses, focusing on loss, jitter, and eye-diagram evaluations.
β’ Employ EDA tools like Ansys SIWAVE, HFSS, or similar for the simulation and validation of signal integrity designs.
β’ Work in conjunction with cross-functional teams to incorporate signal integrity considerations into the overall hardware design process.
β’ Create behavioral models based on measured signal integrity data to guide future design and simulation activities.
β’ Execute pre- and post-layout simulations and measurements for high-speed signal interfaces.
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with over 10 years of relevant experience.
β’ Profound understanding of electromagnetic (EM) principles and transmission line theory.
β’ Significant experience in signal integrity analysis for high-speed serial interfaces, including Ethernet, PCIe, and DDR5 technologies.
β’ Skilled in using EDA tools such as Ansys SIWAVE, HFSS, or comparable software.
β’ Practical expertise in time-domain and frequency-domain analyses, including jitter, loss, and eye-diagram assessments.
β’ Strong background in HSPICE simulations and model creation.
β’ Experience with PCB layout techniques tailored for high-speed designs.
β’ Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting.
β’ Familiarity with advanced simulation tools and methodologies.
β’ Experience with high-speed interfaces like 112Gbps PAM4 Ethernet, PCIe Gen5, and DDR5.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of high-speed PCB design and layout principles.
β’ Understanding of power integrity and power noise simulations.
