Senior Project Controls Planner, Project & Development Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement the schedule management program along with deliverables for large-scale capital projects, encompassing tools, technology, processes, and procedures.

• Collaborate with project stakeholders as a trusted advisor, offering guidance and strategic insights at the portfolio planning level.

• Create, monitor, and update integrated project plans and schedules that align with the goals of the program and individual projects.

• Organize and coordinate all Owner scope activities within the integrated project timeline.

• Incorporate third-party plans and schedules into the unified project schedule.

• Lead interactive planning sessions and conduct quantitative risk assessments as needed.

• Generate baseline, progress, and hypothetical schedules.

• Establish metrics for schedule analysis and reporting for senior management and project teams.

• Evaluate impacts on critical-path and near-critical activities, reporting findings to the project team.

• Oversee schedule deviations and variances, aiding in the development of corrective action strategies.

• Produce and distribute schedule progress reports, trending charts, and schedule analyses on a regular basis.

• Keep detailed records of scope changes, trends, and variances that affect schedule performance.

• Ensure the reliability of schedule information.

• Regularly review schedules with project team members to guarantee the incorporation of accurate and timely data.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience as a planner/scheduler on capital projects, covering both design and construction stages.

• Proven experience working within teams in a complex, matrixed environment.

• Proficiency in using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

• Required experience within the construction industry.

• Additional experience in data centers is highly preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
