Senior Project Controls Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing financial reporting to ensure precision and alignment with project requirements and agreements.

• Detect, troubleshoot, and resolve billing discrepancies or conflicts by collaborating with internal teams.

• Keep accurate billing documentation for invoicing and audit needs.

• Oversee data scripts for entering contractor and subcontractor hours and facilitate hour migration between systems.

• Manage the accounts payable process with primary subcontractors.

• Aid in the development and implementation of automation tools for reporting, billing, and enhancing workflow processes.

• Produce financial reports and analyses to support various projects.

• Help reconcile project costs, revenue, labor charges, and vendor invoices.

• Monitor accounts receivable, track outstanding payments, and reconcile accounts.

• Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial project controls, project accounting, or similar roles.

• Proficient in Excel for data analysis, modeling, and creating complex spreadsheets.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, reconciliation, and financial reporting.

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, including variance analysis and trend identification.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

• Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive, resourceful, and growth-focused attitude.

• Familiarity with project management principles and billing methodologies is preferred.

• Knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles is preferred.

• Capability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs from the floor to waist level.

• Capacity to lift up to 20 lbs.

• Ability to carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance.

• Ability to push/pull with 30 lbs of force.
