Senior Programmer Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Execute advanced bioinformatics programming tasks focusing on statistical and computational aspects of research initiatives.

• Serve as the primary programmer for selected moderately complex studies.

• Collaborate with project team leaders and client representatives to evaluate and establish project objectives and timelines.

• Contribute to multidisciplinary teams involved in clinical trials.

• Develop, implement, maintain, and validate SAS programs.

• Transfer, integrate, summarize, and report data from various sources and systems.

• Create and verify listings, tables, and figures.

• Manage and document tasks to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.

• Offer training and mentorship to junior team members.

• Support departmental infrastructure, including conferences, presentations, training materials, working practices, and SOPs.

• Assist in the bidding process when requested.

⛳️ Requirements

• MS/MA degree in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree in the same fields or equivalent relevant qualifications.

• At least 5 years of experience that equips the candidate with the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the position.

• Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including fluency in English.

• Comprehensive understanding of relational database structures and complex data systems.

• Capability to independently organize and manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines.

• Ability to conduct quality control reviews for statistical programming.

• Proficiency in effectively capturing biostatistical metrics.
