
Senior Program Manager – Patient Support Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Report to the Director of Patient Programs
• Inspire and guide a team of Program Managers in the development and execution of patient support programs
• Provide direct oversight to Program Managers
• Ensure the delivery of patient care, operational quality, and partner satisfaction
• Build and nurture strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Create collaborative internal networks and work cross-functionally across various organizational departments
• Drive ongoing process improvements and operational excellence for patient support programs and partner portfolios
• Ensure programs meet targeted KPIs and metrics
• Guarantee operations comply with regulatory, partner, and quality guidelines
• Coach and develop direct reports while fostering strong team engagement
• Co-create solutions to enhance the patient journey
• Assist in resolving client issues and concerns
• Review change requests and recommend appropriate actions
• Lead regular business reviews with partners
• Support RFPs, contract negotiations, and program launches
• Stay informed and apply current industry trend knowledge
• Assist with special projects involving planning, resource allocation, financial reviews, and change implementation
• Report patient safety information and product quality complaints as required
• Review the accuracy of invoices
• Experience in building and leading strong collaborative, cross-functional teams with both internal and external stakeholders
• University degree in business or healthcare, or an equivalent combination of experience and education
• At least 3 years of experience in partner relationship and account management
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in leading teams and coaching direct reports
• At least 2 years of experience managing patient support programs or business process outsourcing delivery teams, preferably in healthcare
• Extensive experience in Oncology PSP operations and reimbursement is a significant asset
• Strong project management and change management experience
• Proven ability to manage timelines and achieve project objectives
• Effective oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects/tasks
• Understanding of multi-channel contact center operations, ideally on a distributed basis
• General knowledge of pharmacovigilance requirements
• Strong comprehension of financial statements and budgeting
• Familiarity with electronic data management systems
• Bilingual proficiency in written and verbal English and French is required for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Project management designation/certificate is a significant asset
