This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee the daily operations of patient services teams and their activities.
• Direct project management for patient service initiatives, including deliverables, meetings, timelines, status updates, and risk assessments.
• Act as the primary liaison for external parties, agencies, and vendors of patient materials.
• Monitor and manage purchase orders and invoices related to patient services programs.
• Oversee patient support materials through promotional resource committee processes, including development, review, submission, approval tracking, communication, and compliance with expiry regulations.
• Collaborate with IT and systems teams to implement patient service materials and facilitate their rollout to vendor end users.
• Spearhead enterprise-level planning, governance, prioritization, and execution of strategic patient services projects.
• Provide strategic direction and performance management for external vendors and HUB partners, including management of KPIs and SLAs.
• Manage budget forecasting, accruals, expense tracking, and financial planning.
• Create executive dashboards, scorecards, and business reviews for senior leadership.
• Conduct root cause analyses, risk assessments, and resolve complex issues.
• Serve as the business lead for process optimization, operational excellence, and change management initiatives.
• Function as a subject matter expert in reimbursement, patient access, affordability, and patient support operations.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in patient services, reimbursement, access, affordability programs, HUB operations, or related pharmaceutical support services.
• Proven leadership in managing complex cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience in rare diseases is highly preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities leveraging a process-oriented mindset and analytical skills.
• Excellent collaboration abilities.
• Detail-oriented, conscientious, and exceptionally organized.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Familiarity with benefit designs, payer processes, prior authorization, and appeals processes.
• Expertise in patient services operations, reimbursement support models, affordability initiatives, specialty pharmacy operations, and HUB services.
• Proficient in cross-functional leadership, executive communication, stakeholder influence, and program governance.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence decisions without direct authority.
• Willingness to travel and work long and/or irregular hours as needed.
• A Master's degree, MBA, PMP certification, or equivalent advanced professional designation is preferred.
