This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee multiple senior client engagements simultaneously, managing intricate, multi-workstream implementations for top-tier banks and financial institutions.
• Ensure consistent and successful project delivery by defining scope, requirements, staffing, and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary escalation contact for executive and C-level client stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources across internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors, including cross-regional and cross-functional groups.
• Develop and sustain documentation for decisions, action items, issues, and risks.
• Record detailed requirements for enhancements and new features while collaborating with Architects and Consultants on solution design.
• Organize and lead user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify and manage project risks, including regulatory and compliance considerations within banking and financial services.
• Communicate project and program status to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• Address functional and technical inquiries.
• Mentor and guide Project Managers and Consultants.
• Ensure client satisfaction while identifying potential future business opportunities.
• Lead the development and lifecycle of Statements of Work, covering scoping, effort/cost estimation, change orders, and renewals.
• Influence delivery methodology and define new project phases.
• 8+ years of experience in Project Management.
• Proven history of delivering large-scale, intricate software implementations for top-tier banks or major financial institutions.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• Demonstrated experience managing enterprise software implementations for highly regulated organizations.
• Extensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Iterative.
• Experience overseeing implementations from the vendor/consulting perspective is strongly preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence C-level and executive stakeholders.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing technology projects and programs from initiation through production launch and ongoing support.
• Proficient in managing scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, customer satisfaction, and senior-level client relationships.
• Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations in banking and financial services technology.
• Excellent command of MS Office, MS Project, and Visio.
• Capability to prioritize, make decisions under ambiguity, and adhere to tight deadlines.
• Strong multitasking abilities across several large projects or programs concurrently.
• Solid understanding of technologies, including databases and their application in business settings.
• Expert knowledge of systems analysis, business analysis, requirements gathering, and project management techniques.
• Proven experience in owning or co-authoring Statements of Work (SOWs), change orders, and scope/estimation documentation.
• Professional fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plus but not required.
