This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee a comprehensive commercial and industrial energy-efficiency initiative for a leading utility client.
• Manage all aspects of the client program from its initiation to its conclusion.
• Act as the primary point of contact and leader for client interactions.
• Take responsibility for program costs, implementation, performance, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Engage in contract negotiations and adjustments.
• Coordinate the development of business plans, work statements, specifications, operating budgets, and financial conditions.
• Align the program strategy with market trends, program objectives, and client requirements.
• Facilitate program review meetings with the client to discuss cost, scheduling, and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business or extend the program's scope with the client.
• Assess program challenges and opportunities and explore potential solutions.
• Evaluate performance metrics and suggest program and marketing strategies.
• Set milestones, track plans and schedules, identify issues, and implement solutions.
• Assess the profitability and feasibility of program enhancements.
• Formulate strategies for optimal program performance in relation to market opportunities.
• Lead a cross-functional team that includes technical, marketing, operations, analytics, and administrative roles.
• Spearhead improvements in processes and tools.
• Contribute to or oversee the creation and execution of contracts.
• Must reside in Pennsylvania.
• Preference for candidates located in the Pittsburgh area; candidates from other regions in Pennsylvania will also be considered.
• Relevant work experience with a minimum of 8 years in project or program management.
• At least 5 years of experience in people management.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's or MBA is preferred.
• Experience managing a single large program typically generating $5–10M in annual revenue without incentives or a substantial portfolio of smaller client contracts.
• Contribute to or lead contract creation and ensure compliance and client satisfaction in contract execution.
• Lead and coordinate a program team of approximately 50+ personnel across various functions.
• Direct people management experience with 2–5 direct reports, including contractors (ACWs).
• Proven experience in delegating tasks and developing team members.
• Comfortable operating within strategic and/or highly complex, high-risk programs.
• Experience in leading process and tool enhancements.
• Excellent communication skills in client-facing situations.
• Strong business and financial insight, including forecasting and financial reporting capabilities.
• May be responsible for creating technical content and intellectual property.
• If applicable, must meet all DOT qualification standards and adhere to relevant federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration assistance.
