Senior Program Manager – Aerospace, Defense, Space

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee defense munition programs that align with customer needs and organizational goals.

• Create and execute program plans that encompass scope, timeline, budget, and resource distribution.

• Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams to facilitate program execution and proactively address issues.

• Track program performance metrics and ensure adherence to defense industry standards and regulations.

• Offer leadership and direction to program teams, encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.

• Supervise work and authorize resource needs and program estimates while guiding integrated program teams using the Integrated Product Delivery & Support (IPDS) Process.

• Develop and implement program plans and business requirements within the constraints of approved budgets and schedules.

• Coordinate with Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and Global Business Enterprise (GBE) to meet technical performance, timeline, and cost goals.

• Utilize program-management tools and development processes, including statement-of-work (SOW), Line of Balance (LOB), work-breakdown structure (WBS), and basis-of-estimate (BOE).

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in program management within the aerospace defense or related fields.

• In-depth understanding of defense munition program requirements, compliance, and regulatory standards.

• Demonstrated capability to develop and manage intricate program plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.

• Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies pertinent to aerospace defense projects.

• Skilled in program management tools and methodologies relevant to the defense and aerospace sectors.

• Background in managing programs within aerospace defense and space sectors.

• 7 years of experience or knowledge of the Aerospace industry, particularly in navigation.

• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills tailored to complex defense projects.

• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments and a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.

• Strong communication skills (both oral and written) and proficiency in executive presentation.

• Candidate must be a U.S. Person: a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or a person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status, or possess the ability to obtain an export authorization.

• Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, or Lean Manufacturing; preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (valued/preferred).
