Senior Program and Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee large-scale, intricate enterprise technology and business projects from inception to execution

• Act as the primary point of accountability for the outcomes of projects and programs

• Ensure timely delivery of projects within budget and aligned with specified business goals

• Coordinate various workstreams and cross-functional teams throughout the duration of the project

• Create and implement comprehensive delivery plans that encompass scope, scheduling, resources, dependencies, milestones, and business objectives

• Align technology and business workstreams to meet established targets

• Define priorities and drive execution in complex and uncertain environments

• Cultivate partnerships with business, technology, product, operations, and other stakeholders

• Report project status, risks, issues, recommendations, and outcomes to senior leadership and executives

• Facilitate high-level discussions and decision-making processes

• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies

• Develop strategies for mitigation and contingency while addressing obstacles across teams and workstreams

• Oversee project budgets, forecasts, staffing plans, and resource distribution

• Track financial performance of projects and identify potential budget risks

• Ensure compliance with project management standards, governance, Delivery Excellence, change management, and organizational processes

• Maintain project controls, documentation, reporting, and decision records

• Direct operational readiness, implementation, transition, adoption, training, and organizational preparedness activities

• Lead cross-functional teams, inspire collaboration, resolve conflicts, and eliminate barriers to execution

• Apply lessons learned and industry best practices to enhance project and program delivery

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory

• At least 7 years of experience in project management

• Proven track record of successfully delivering large, complex projects on time and within budget

• Experience managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously

• Experience leading cross-functional teams in business and technology sectors

• Experience overseeing projects throughout the entire project lifecycle

• Capability to function at the Program Manager level while upholding strong Project Management discipline

• Extensive knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices

• Practical experience with Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid project delivery methodologies

• Proficient in scope, schedule, budget, resource, risk, issue, and dependency management

• Experience with project governance, controls, and change management

• Strong strategic planning and execution skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong executive presence and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner to senior executives and leadership teams

• Excellent negotiation, influencing, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills
