Senior Product Registration Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Formulate and execute regulatory strategies and tactical plans for designated active ingredients and products in Canada.

• Prepare regulatory submissions that encompass chemistry, toxicology, metabolism, residue chemistry, environmental fate, environmental toxicology, value studies, summaries, risk assessments, and interpretations.

• Sustain current registrations and advocate for technologies during re-evaluations and special reviews.

• Oversee label modifications and implement product life cycle management strategies.

• Ensure adherence to Pest Control Product regulations and federal and provincial pesticide laws.

• Analyze legislative and regulatory developments and create rationales to meet regulatory requirements.

• Represent FMC on CropLife Canada committees and propose actions regarding regulatory matters.

• Participate in or lead cross-functional project teams that impact registrations.

• Manage unforeseen events that affect submission quality and budgets.

• Collaborate with Global and North American Crop Registration and Regulatory Affairs teams.

• Offer regulatory guidance for product development initiatives in Canada.

• Engage with Provincial Minor Use Coordinators to assist in PRD registration for Minor Use Projects.

• Project operational and financial budgets for relevant initiatives.

• Handle regulatory components of data compensation with PRD and internal team members.

• Coordinate settlement agreements with other registrants and manage data compensation matters with the US regulatory team.

• Maintain regulatory records and databases while contributing to information-management improvements.

• Adhere to safety protocols and support workplace security measures.

• Mentor and coach new employees.

• Report directly to the North America Registration and Regulatory Affairs Director.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree, preferably in chemistry, biology, agronomy, or a related field.

• A master's degree is highly preferred.

• Over 7 years of experience in a scientific field pertinent to pesticide regulation in Canada.

• Demonstrated experience in advocating for regulatory issues through industry working groups and committees.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills and capability to manage multiple priority tasks.

• Keen attention to detail with a focus on deadlines and customer service orientation.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to drive positive outcomes.
