Contractor Payments Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Supervise the Contractor Payments Team responsible for processing contractor payroll (settlements)

• Guide payroll operations to ensure timely and precise completion and fund disbursement

• Foster strong client relationships and act as a point of escalation for client payroll issues

• Oversee daily team activities and track client payroll submissions

• Train, lead, mentor, and coach team members

• Conduct one-on-one meetings, establish performance metrics, and carry out performance evaluations

• Execute quality assurance checks on processed payroll and configured deductions

• Determine root causes and implement corrective measures to minimize errors

• Enhance payroll processes and spearhead initiatives aimed at improving efficiency

• Facilitate transitions between implementation and the payroll team

• Maintain the knowledge base content and promote user adoption

• Collaborate with Client Services, Strategic Account Management, Accounting, Product, Engineering, clients, and executives

• Prepare and analyze payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis

• Oversee accounts receivable invoicing and lead efforts to collect outstanding balances

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Understanding of payroll and accounting processes, including wage and hour principles

• Familiarity with customer service principles and practices

• Over 2 years of experience in software account management

• More than 3 years of front-line management experience

• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)

• Ability to analyze problems and develop effective solutions

• Focus on customer satisfaction and quality
