Senior Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Act as the Senior Product Owner for various development teams, facilitating daily operations and eliminating obstacles.

• Organize and uphold well-structured backlogs that align with product objectives and stakeholder requirements.

• Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, refinement sessions, daily stand-ups, demonstrations, and retrospectives.

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional allies to grasp business needs and translate them into clear, detailed requirements.

• Create user stories, acceptance criteria, use cases, and workflow diagrams/UML models for the development teams.

• Partner with UI/UX teams to align on prototypes and design resources.

• Contribute insights for roadmap planning regarding capacity, sequencing, feasibility, and risk management.

• Organize and manage releases across engineering, QA, operations, and customer-facing teams, keeping stakeholders informed about progress, risks, and timelines.

• Lead collaborative efforts that span multiple Intermedia products or systems, ensuring alignment of dependencies and expectations.

• Mentor and assist other product owners to enhance the quality and consistency of execution within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in driving the delivery of AI features; capable of transforming AI functionalities into clear, actionable stories for engineering.

• 4+ years of experience in roles such as Product Owner, Project Manager, Business Analyst, or similar positions within software development.

• Experience in coordinating delivery across various teams.

• Exceptional organizational skills; adept at managing multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.

• Strong analytical abilities; skilled in processing complex information to create clear, structured requirements.

• Excellent presentation and communication skills; capable of facilitating effective discussions and aligning diverse teams.

• Strong technical proficiency and problem-solving skills.

• Extensive experience working with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.

• Demonstrated experience in coordinating releases and deliveries across cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Upper-intermediate or higher proficiency in English, with strong skills in asynchronous communication.
