Senior Product Manager – Users

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +4 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of identity, roles, permissions, and authorization from start to finish.

• Manage the Users capability as a platform and establish how other product teams interact with it.

• Enhance the invitation experience to simplify the process for founders bringing their teams onto Mercury.

• Discover the reasons users are reluctant to invite teammates and ensure invitations are straightforward, accessible, and trustworthy.

• Influence the future of identity and authorization in alignment with Mercury's product goals and the evolving user types.

• Provide support for Mercury's financial stack catering to founders and growing companies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of pertinent product management experience.

• Ideally, experience with horizontal product or platform teams responsible for identity, roles, and authorization.

• A refined sense of taste and judgment to effectively balance product needs with platform considerations.

• Capability to create product and platform solutions that minimize unnecessary complexity.

• A perspective on agentic action and the shifts in authorization when the actor is not a human.

• Proven ability to independently clarify ambiguity into a well-defined viewpoint.

• Skill in managing complex problems throughout the entire process, including research, design, engineering, go-to-market strategies, and stakeholder management, autonomously.
