This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead cross-functional teams to create and implement transformative K–12 classroom experiences.
• Establish the product vision, strategy, north star, and a 12–18 month curriculum roadmap.
• Provide insights for the company's 2–3 year product portfolio vision.
• Set quarterly OKRs and ensure the team is accountable for achieving product-level outcomes.
• Monitor performance metrics and review cycles to enhance customer retention, engagement, revenue, and team success.
• Guide products through the stage-gate process, managing deliverables and analysis.
• Collaborate with GPM on cross-product investment decisions.
• Oversee research initiatives and develop product concepts and plans.
• Formulate detailed quarterly release and execution plans, including feature and task estimates.
• Work alongside Supply Chain on physical components and product specifications, balancing durability, instructional quality, brand, safety, and margin targets.
• Advocate for teachers and students during all phases of product development.
• Conduct interviews, focus groups, observations, and quantitative analysis to uncover user needs.
• Evaluate competitor curriculum offerings and industry trends to identify gaps, differentiators, and standout features.
• Manage end-to-end product delivery from ideation and requirements gathering to launch and post-launch iteration.
• Lead product teams to ensure product quality, scope, organizational readiness, professional development strategy, and adherence to delivery timelines.
• Facilitate ceremonies for multiple teams, participate in daily stand-ups, and resolve blockers within 24 hours.
• Provide context and objectives for sprint plans and features.
• Align senior leadership and stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and CX with the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and CX on positioning, training, external messaging, product launches, and market performance.
• Identify and prioritize AI opportunities, assess feasibility with engineering, and introduce AI experiences to the market.
• Partner with Research & Measurement and Data Science to assess hypotheses and releases, informing product strategy.
• Mentor Associate Product Managers (APMs) and Product Managers (PMs).
• 8+ years of product management experience, preferably in a high-growth SaaS, ed tech, or consumer tech setting.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required, or a combination of education and direct experience.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• Experience in startup and growth environments that move quickly.
• Proven success in managing the entire lifecycle of complex products from vision through launch and iteration.
• Experience in team leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in shaping AI-powered experiences and collaborating with technical teams.
• Technical literacy and the ability to engage with complex technical domains.
• Ability to conduct qualitative research and quantitative analysis.
• Ability to work collaboratively with writers, designers, interaction developers, learning scientists, marketers, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, CX, Research & Measurement, Data Science, and engineering.
• Willingness to travel to Amplify headquarters in New York for in-person onboarding or periodically during employment as needed.
