This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead significant product strategy initiatives for the Creative Pro audience across Lightroom's desktop, mobile, and web platforms.
• Identify valuable opportunities within professional workflows, including ingesting, culling, editing, retouching, masking, batch editing, collaboration, client review, delivery, and archiving.
• Convert the tasks that photographers need to accomplish into product principles, requirements, priorities, and success metrics.
• Define how Lightroom can enhance the benefits for working photographers.
• Represent the interests of professional photographers from various genres within Adobe.
• Cultivate relationships with professional photographers, educators, creators, camera partners, and industry thought leaders.
• Bring practical photography knowledge into product reviews, prototypes, roadmap discussions, launch planning, and executive dialogues.
• Collaborate with advanced technology, design, and engineering teams to develop new capabilities that provide reliable experiences for photographers.
• Define the role of AI, agents, and automation in Lightroom to streamline processes, enhance quality, minimize repetitive tasks, and broaden creative possibilities.
• Balance innovation with quality, performance, reliability, transparency, and user autonomy.
• Foster clarity and alignment among cross-functional teams, strategic forums, planning cycles, and executive discussions.
• Remain engaged with the tools, services, communities, and workflows utilized by professional photographers.
• Formulate a perspective on Lightroom’s strategic direction, partnerships, and customer expectations.
• Integrate customer insights, product quality, user adoption, retention, monetization, and competitive differentiation into product recommendations.
• Demonstrated experience as a senior product leader who has crafted strategy and delivered high-impact products, preferably for creative, media, professional, technical, or workflow-intensive clientele.
• In-depth understanding of professional photography workflows, including speed, quality, consistency, client expectations, high-volume production, and creative control.
• Strong product acumen and capability to assess experiences for professional applications.
• Proven experience in translating ambiguous customer needs, emerging technologies, and business objectives into product strategy, trade-offs, and delivered outcomes.
• Experience collaborating with research, design, engineering, and product marketing teams to scale customer-facing products.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, machine learning, generative AI, or agentic experiences.
• Ability to tell compelling stories and influence at the executive level, particularly in senior individual-contributor roles.
• Strong analytical skills, utilizing usage data, customer research, market signals, competitive insights, and hands-on craft knowledge.
• Excellent collaborative abilities, high ownership, and the capacity to build trust with photographers and internal stakeholders.
• Over 10 years of professional experience as a photographer is highly advantageous.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, writing for, or engaging with the photography community is a strong plus.
• Collaboration experience with camera manufacturers, lens makers, imaging hardware companies, or other partners in the photography ecosystem is a strong plus.
• A photography portfolio, examples of shipped products, writing, presentations, or other work that showcases extensive knowledge of professional creative workflows is a strong plus.
• Adherence to Adobe interview AI-use guidelines.
