Principal Product Manager, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conceptualize and develop a groundbreaking AI product in the wedding sector from the ground up.

• Take ownership of the product lifecycle from strategy to delivery, encompassing prototypes, initial user groups, iterative processes, and market launch.

• Establish the product roadmap and be responsible for achieving product outcomes.

• Manage the market case, product positioning, category narrative, distribution strategies, and long-term business viability.

• Define reliable AI behavior, including guiding, inquiring, acting, and ensuring couples maintain control.

• Conduct rapid build-measure-learn cycles and test developments with users and industry experts.

• Set success metrics, equip the product with necessary instrumentation, and oversee unit economics and service costs.

• Leverage the vendor graph, couple graph, reviews, and planning workflows to create product advantages.

• Provide guidance to product, engineering, design, marketing, and data science leadership on the company's AI strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product management for large-scale consumer products.

• Recent, hands-on experience in launching LLM-powered products for actual users.

• Proven track record of zero-to-one development, including bringing at least one product from an unclear concept to launch and evaluation.

• Proficient understanding of prompting, evaluation frameworks, agentic patterns, memory, and tool utilization.

• Capability to engage in technical design discussions with ML/AI engineers.

• Experience in managing AI production expenses, including tradeoffs related to model, context, and caching within a defined budget.

• Strong commercial instincts and understanding of category dynamics, including positioning, distribution, and pricing strategies.

• A clear perspective on AI autonomy and ensuring user control.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prototype and learn through shipping.

• Exceptional communication skills suitable for executive-level interactions.

• Strong methodology in designing success metrics and leveraging data to inform decision-making.
