This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Develop the operating model for Product Management/NPD.
• Mentor talent and enhance Product Management capabilities.
• Foster excellence in Product Management throughout the organization.
• Lead the standard procedures for the Voice of Customer process, conduct training sessions, ensure compliance, and create a centralized database for customer insights.
• Manage and update the framework for applications, industries, and markets related to Precision Technologies.
• Identify target applications and total addressable market; assess market share and pinpoint gaps across regions, countries, and markets.
• Evaluate won/lost funnels and document scalable successes and product deficiencies.
• Oversee the Ingersoll Rand Product Excellence gate process and enhance business case approvals for NPD.
• Implement and manage the Stage-Gate process for the Product Management and Engineering teams.
• Hold teams accountable for toll-gate timelines and implement countermeasures for Engineering delays.
• Improve the review processes and standard procedures for phase gates 1, 2, and 3.
• Facilitate deliverables between IRETC and regional business unit Engineering teams.
• Coordinate Engineering priorities across regions, global business units, and IRETC.
• Establish a structure for evaluating IRETC projects and outputs.
• Collaborate with approximately 50 Engineering professionals in India, ensuring accountability for deliverables and timelines.
• Identify opportunities for intellectual property and technology barriers to guide patent strategy.
• Develop and implement a product rationalization framework.
• Manage the product-related cybersecurity review process.
• Set cybersecurity review standards within the IRPX gate process.
• Create frameworks to identify, prioritize, and mitigate security risks for launched products.
• Develop project plans and guarantee timely delivery of product security initiatives.
• Over 8 years of experience in Product Management.
• Minimum of 3 years leading teams and enhancing Product Management capabilities through structured mentorship.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with product discovery methodologies.
• Metrics-driven approach to execution.
• Proficiency in data analysis, trend identification, and solution development.
• Commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and executive presence.
• Strong skills in project and program management, including planning, executing, and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Preferred: experience in creating and launching company-wide internal training academies or product management boot camps.
• Preferred: experience in transitioning from legacy project-based delivery models to contemporary, outcomes-driven product operating models.
