Senior Product Manager, Pharmacy Management System

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Gifthealth's pharmacy management system product from the planning phase to execution.

• Establish and prioritize the PMS roadmap, covering essential areas such as core dispensing, billing and claims, multi-tenant, and multi-location functionalities.

• Lead migration strategies for both new and existing programs, encompassing data migration and reconciliation processes.

• Transition programs onto the PMS while ensuring there are no disruptions for patients or dispensing activities.

• Successfully phase out the legacy pharmacy system according to plan, implementing an interim dispensing strategy without any interruptions in billing or claims.

• Collaborate with engineering, pharmacy operations, and program teams to facilitate successful product releases.

• Uphold quality and maintain a steady pace in a regulated, high-stakes product domain.

• Draft precise, engineering-ready specifications.

• Make informed tradeoff decisions to keep the intricate build process progressing smoothly.

• Report directly to the Senior Product Manager of Digital Pharmacy.

• Organize regular alignment meetings with engineering, pharmacy operations, and program teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in product management.

• Proven history of launching complex, technical, back-end, or platform products.

• Familiarity with managing transactional systems where accuracy is critical, such as dispensing, billing, or claims.

• Experience in migrations, data reconciliation, or replacing legacy systems.

• Excellent execution abilities, including the capacity to sequence complex builds, adhere to deadlines, and make tradeoff decisions.

• Strong written communication skills and sound judgment in regulated environments.

• Capability to handle multiple concurrent priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines.

• Proficient in effective communication with engineering, pharmacy operations, program teams, and leadership.

• Ability to sit or stand at a workstation and use a computer for extended durations.

• Willingness to travel occasionally if necessary.

• Preferred: experience in pharmacy, healthtech, or similar regulated sectors.

• Preferred: knowledge of pharmacy management systems, dispensing, or billing and claims workflows.

• Preferred: experience with multi-tenant or platform products.

• Preferred: hands-on expertise with AI tools and Linear.
