Senior Product Manager, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Enhance the overall browser experience by addressing bugs, refining the user interface and navigation, and elevating downloads, menus, performance, and usability aspects.

• Foster user activation and retention by optimizing the onboarding journey and conversion funnel through data analysis, testing, and iterative improvements.

• Provide unique features and experiences tailored for key user demographics.

• Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, data scientists, and Technical Program Managers (TPMs) to implement high-impact enhancements while balancing user needs, technical limitations, privacy, and performance considerations.

• Monitor trends and discussions in the App Store, conduct hands-on testing of applications, analyze user reviews and analytics, and transform insights into enhancements for Firefox on iOS and Android platforms.

• Oversee app performance metrics in App Store Connect and Google Play Console, including crash reports, application not responding (ANR) issues, and user ratings.

• Contribute to user acquisition and retention through App Store Optimization (ASO), store listings, and growth experiments.

• Tailor and optimize Firefox for international markets, taking into account cultural differences and local data regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in launching or managing applications on the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store, demonstrating a clear impact on user experience and performance metrics.

• Proven ability to deliver features and enhancements within deadlines through effective collaboration with engineering teams, design personnel, and cross-functional partners.

• In-depth knowledge of iOS (and preferably Android) ecosystems, app store policies, and web browser technologies.

• Proficiency in utilizing analytics, conversion funnels, A/B testing, and user feedback to enhance activation, retention, and overall product quality.

• A natural inclination to analyze applications, keep abreast of trends on platforms like X/Twitter and Reddit, and personally test experiences to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Interest or experience in expanding products within international markets while being sensitive to local user requirements.

• Experience with mobile browsers or privacy-oriented products is a plus.

• A proven track record of significantly scaling an app’s user base is a bonus.

• Currently managing your own side project or app on the App Store or Google Play is a bonus.
