Senior Product Manager, Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Enhance the Firefox mobile browser experience by addressing bugs and improving UI, navigation, downloads, menus, performance, and usability aspects.

• Foster user activation and retention by optimizing the onboarding process and conversion funnel through data analysis, testing, and iterative improvements.

• Provide unique features and experiences tailored for key user segments.

• Work in collaboration with engineering, design, data science, and TPMs to deliver impactful enhancements while balancing user needs, technical requirements, privacy considerations, and performance objectives.

• Analyze user behavior through App Store trends, discussions, hands-on testing, reviews, and analytics, transforming insights into product upgrades for both iOS and Android platforms.

• Oversee app performance in App Store Connect and Google Play Console, monitoring issues such as crashes, ANRs, and user ratings.

• Aid in user acquisition and retention through App Store Optimization (ASO), store listings, and growth experiments.

• Adapt and refine Firefox for international markets while considering cultural differences and local data limitations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in launching or managing apps on the iOS App Store and/or Google Play Store, demonstrating a clear impact on user experience and key metrics.

• Proven track record of delivering features and enhancements within deadlines through collaboration with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams.

• Comprehensive understanding of the iOS and ideally Android ecosystems, app store regulations, and web browser technologies.

• Proficiency in using analytics, funnels, A/B testing, and user feedback to enhance activation, retention, and overall product quality.

• Habitually analyze apps, track trends on platforms like X/Twitter and Reddit, and engage in firsthand testing of experiences.

• Interest or experience in expanding products in international markets with a keen awareness of local user requirements.

• Prior experience with mobile browsers or privacy-focused products is an advantage.

• A history of significantly growing an app’s user base is a plus.

• Currently managing a side project or app on the App Store or Google Play is an added benefit.
