Senior Product Manager, Migrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee AWS migration initiatives encompassing discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.

• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategies involving re-hosting, re-platforming, and refactoring.

• Assist in mapping dependencies, creating rollback plans, refining backlogs, estimating efforts, and sequencing workstreams.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the migration process.

• Manage client expectations, project scope, risks, and escalations effectively.

• Lead status calls with both internal teams and clients to ensure alignment on migration timelines and success criteria with business objectives.

• Organize and conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).

• Identify opportunities for further modernization and expansion in collaboration with Sales and Solutions Architecture.

• Supervise project assignments and team allocations for ongoing engagements.

• Keep track of pending sales forecasts to ensure recruiting stays informed.

• Guide cross-functional teams spanning Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product.

• Maintain clear delivery milestones and transition phases throughout projects.

• Uphold RevStar quality standards, migration playbooks, and delivery benchmarks using Jira and Azure DevOps.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical delivery leadership, engineering leadership, or consulting within cloud or modernization fields.

• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, compute, storage, and IAM.

• Practical experience managing large-scale cloud migration projects.

• Familiarity with full lifecycle Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Demonstrated ability to provide clarity amidst technical ambiguity.

• Active AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) are a plus.

• Experience in regulated frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI is advantageous.

• Background in professional consulting is preferred.
