This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Take ownership of math portfolio products from inception to completion, encompassing vision, roadmap, scope, and release strategies.
• Assist in the development of product vision through research, market mapping, competitive analysis, opportunity sizing, and strategic planning.
• Implement comprehensive product lifecycle activities, including market research, product strategy and design, pricing analysis, and product launches.
• Collaborate with the Content team on state adoptions, sampling, open-territory initiatives, and opportunities with large districts.
• Perform user interviews, classroom pilots, and user testing to gather insights.
• Analyze customer feedback, product analytics, and competitive data to generate prioritization recommendations.
• Work alongside content and research teams to integrate instructional research and the math instructional model into product design.
• Lead discovery processes, human-centered design initiatives, and evidence-based decision-making.
• Foster cross-functional alignment and remove obstacles to progress across teams such as Content, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Design, and Operations.
• Sync instructional philosophy, content development, and the digital platform to enhance feature and customer experience delivery.
• Identify and address strategic challenges that span team boundaries.
• Manage project budgets, assess budget implications, propose trade-offs, and advocate for necessary funding.
• Take responsibility for post-launch adoption, usage, retention, and renewal metrics to guide enhancements and roadmap suggestions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in education publishing or K-12 edtech.
• Proven success in product management, digital product development, and/or curriculum development.
• Strong preference for experience with K-12 math products.
• Capability to drive alignment and progress across teams without having direct authority.
• Experience in gathering and synthesizing user research, product analytics, and market data.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and sound judgment.
• Strong analytical thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to assess ROI and value.
• Proficiency in Agile and human-centered design methodologies.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

• Base salary ranging from $101,000 to $111,000.
