This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Define the product strategy and roadmap for margin financing, securities lending, and clearing & settlement systems within the essential trading infrastructure.

• Take ownership of the architectural design for clearing and settlement systems, which includes trade clearing, position and balance settlement, multilateral netting, fee and interest settlement, and reconciliation.

• Enhance core margin systems encompassing collateral valuation, cross/isolated margin logic, interest accrual, borrowing/lending flows, and liquidation management.

• Collaborate with trading engineering teams to transform intricate financing and settlement requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Oversee the complete product lifecycle from planning through to release and the launch of ongoing or new features.

• Monitor system performance, settlement integrity, and reconciliation accuracy, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they affect users.

• Ensure systems adhere to established standards, regulations, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Profound understanding of margin financing and securities lending mechanics as well as clearing and settlement processes (including netting, reconciliation, collateral management, and interest accrual).

• Experience in designing or owning the architecture of clearing/settlement or margin systems, whether in traditional finance or cryptocurrency.

• Technical or quantitative background (such as Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or Mathematics).

• Capability to comprehend trading logic, risk methodologies, and settlement processes, translating them into product requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• While product experience is not mandatory, a keen interest in the role and prior experience with systems-level tasks is essential.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to effectively coordinate with global stakeholders and international partners.
