Senior Product Manager – GenAI

📋 Description

• Collaborate within Envato’s overarching GenAI strategy, managing a specified product area and spearheading initiatives from the discovery phase through to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Identify customer challenges, investigate product opportunities, and determine how generative AI can enhance creative workflows.

• Leverage customer research, product analytics, experimentation, and hands-on GenAI expertise to inform decisions on what to develop, test, enhance, or discontinue.

• Experiment with cutting-edge models, utilize AI to investigate concepts and create prototypes, and gain insights into model capabilities and limitations.

• Partner with Design and Engineering teams to transform ideas into high-quality experiences, ensuring a balance between creative quality, customer experience, model performance, reliability, scalability, and cost.

• Establish success metrics, evaluate customer usage, and continuously refine products based on data-driven insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager who has led complex customer-facing product initiatives from discovery through to launch and iteration, preferably in the SaaS, technology, or AI sectors.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of generative AI and generative media.

• Sufficient understanding of models, APIs, and emerging capabilities to collaborate closely with technical teams.

• Comfortable utilizing AI for prototyping, exploring, and testing concepts.

• Interest in creative professionals and the dynamics of creative work.

• Awareness of the distinction between impressive AI demonstrations and practical outputs for professional creative work.

• Experience with creative products or tools is particularly advantageous.

• Capability to translate customer, technical, and commercial insights into clear priorities and product decisions.

• Proficient in navigating ambiguity, making trade-offs, and working independently.

• Strong communication skills to foster alignment and collaboration across Product, Design, and Engineering teams.
