📋 Description

• Oversee managed platform access for engineers, analysts, and services.

• Enhance orchestration and scheduling by integrating various fragmented scheduling tools.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to facilitate job migration with reduced manual engineering involvement.

• Promote data ingestion and replication through capabilities of a self-service platform.

• Supervise the decommissioning of legacy systems and ensure a clear transfer of ownership.

• Improve cost efficiency in computing while maintaining a positive developer experience.

• Further diversify compute strategies across storage and compute engines.

• Develop an AI-ready platform infrastructure that includes governed access and audit trails.

• Integrate AI agents into daily operations and set standards for agent-based workflows.

• Safeguard team focus and prioritize outcomes over mere task completion.

• Foster trust among engineering teams, domain specialists, and leadership.

• Collaborate with Data Mesh Enablement, Managed Data Products, and agentic workflow teams to shape an overarching technical strategy.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of experience in product management within a data or infrastructure platform team.

• Proven experience managing technical roadmaps.

• Proficient in interpreting system architectures and pipeline dependencies to inform sequencing decisions with engineering.

• Demonstrated history of executing cross-team migrations and system retirements.

• Open about personal growth areas and eager to learn.

• Preferred: experience in balancing compute costs against performance and developer experience.

• Preferred: familiarity with how AI agents interact with data and tools differently than humans.

• Preferred: discernment regarding when a vendor's proprietary agent layer meets a requirement.

• Preferred: proactive in independently grasping new technical systems, identifying key contacts, and addressing open questions.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
