This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop an understanding of customer use cases, Lightcast data products, platform integrations, and the consumption and sharing of customer data.
• Assist in managing the backlog by converting requirements into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Aid engineering teams in fulfilling roadmap commitments.
• Support data contracts, which include schemas, versioning, deprecation processes, and customer migration paths.
• Oversee data quality, focusing on aspects such as freshness, null values, and duplicates.
• Help address reliability issues impacting customers.
• Assist with product launches through the creation of changelogs, migration notes, documentation, and internal training.
• Engage in incident triage and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate with teams from Engineering, Data, Legal, Security, and GTM.
• Facilitate product execution, data platform operations, governance, and launches to ensure data is dependable, compliant, and accessible.
• 1–2 years of experience in product management, data, analytics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, including sharing models, permissions, and listings.
• Proficiency in SQL and understanding of modern data concepts.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and security principles.
• Experience with agile methodologies, backlog management, and executing roadmaps.
• Strong technical writing abilities, including the development of user stories, acceptance criteria, and product documentation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Data, Legal, Security, and GTM teams.
• Enthusiasm for creating reliable, user-friendly data products and developing expertise in technical product management.
• Must reside and work in a state where Lightcast is authorized to operate; the role is not available in Alaska, Arkansas, California, Delaware, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
