This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance forecasting models to analyze site randomization and enrollment trends.

• Develop algorithms to effectively match patients to or rank them for suitable clinical trials.

• Construct and improve Bayesian inference, regression analysis, and time-series forecasting models.

• Oversee the monitoring of production machine-learning models to detect bias and performance drift.

• Create and refine scalable data pipelines and analytical workflows utilizing AWS Athena, Redshift, SageMaker, and dbt.

• Ensure adherence to data science practices in compliance with HIPAA, GDPR, and other privacy regulations.

• Collaborate with machine-learning engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to seamlessly integrate models into products.

• Present data insights and recommendations to the clinical research community.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Master’s or Ph.D. in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline (or equivalent professional experience) is required.

• At least 5 years of practical experience in data science or analytics, preferably within healthcare, clinical research, or other highly regulated data environments.

• A strong foundation in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques, including Bayesian methods, regression analysis, and time-series forecasting.

• Proficient in assessing model performance and bias, along with implementing AI monitoring tools and strategies for bias mitigation.

• Advanced programming capabilities in Python, with familiarity in libraries such as scikit-learn, PyMC, and mlforecast.

• Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt.

• Practical experience with AWS Athena, Redshift, and SageMaker.

• Background in handling sensitive healthcare or clinical trial data in accordance with HIPAA and GDPR.

• Exceptional teamwork and strong verbal/written communication skills.

• Familiarity with clinical research or health-tech environments is highly advantageous.

• Must be eligible to work remotely within the United States.
