This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Lead the strategic roadmap for integrations with carriers, third-party administrators, benefits platforms, and clients’ HR systems.
• Transition fragmented benefits tools into a unified administration platform, cost-ingestion pipeline, and a consistent experience across Employer of Record, global payroll, and PEO.
• Decompose strategy into roadmaps that align with engineering, operations, and leadership priorities.
• Oversee the migration of benefit costs to integrated payroll systems.
• Establish retirement plan administration.
• Develop provider-agnostic cost ingestion and bring-your-own-broker capabilities.
• Ensure accurate integration of benefits data from clients’ HR systems into payroll.
• Manage test planning, end-to-end validation, and readiness for go-live.
• Activate new countries and partners through requirements gathering, integration, carrier onboarding, and rollout.
• Support sales and implementation teams in benefits processing utilizing AI tools and code-connected agents.
• Promote consistent benefits behavior across diverse products and employment models.
• Create proactive compliance monitoring systems.
• Identify and address gaps that necessitate manual benefits-data reconciliation.
• Investigate benefit-cost data incidents through root-cause analysis, remediation, and sustainable solutions.
• Develop discrepancy reporting, unmapped-cost alerts, and reconciliation infrastructure.
• Manage the benefits-partner lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluation, integration, monitoring, and offboarding.
• Collaborate with Partnerships on commercial terms and act as the technical subject-matter expert for Product.
• Advocate for roadmap and process changes across Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, Finance, and Partnerships.
• Report directly to the Director of Product, Payroll.
• Demonstrated experience as a product manager managing complex third-party integrations (API and file/EDI-based).
• Provider-agnostic perspective focused on clients’ current brokers, carriers, and HRIS systems.
• Proficiency in Cursor and/or Claude Code is essential.
• Ability to independently build, debug, and deploy functional code/prototypes.
• Capability to design systems and processes for both systems and users, including APIs and agent-facing tools.
• Competence in making strategic and tactical product decisions under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written communication skills in asynchronous formats.
• Bonus: experience with negotiating or managing commercial partnerships.
• Bonus: background in benefits, HR technology, payroll, insurance technology, or fintech.
• Nice to have: technical knowledge of data-mapping specifications, synchronization and reconciliation logic, idempotency, settlement thresholds, and migration sequencing.
